    I contacted Tillman Law Firm to assist me with the handling of my father’s estate. Until and unless you’ve been through the probate process, it can be confusing and overwhelming. I had already handled the majority of the affairs, but had some unusual situations regarding the estate and just wanted an attorney to inform me of my legal rights as the Executor/Personal Representative of the estate. Being from out of town (I live near Charlotte NC), I wanted to speak to someone from Edgefield, as this was where my father resided. Ms. Tillman was willing to meet face to face, and had me on her calendar within a week. I explained my entire lengthy situation, and inquired as to my legal rights. She was extremely professional and courteous, and told me what I needed to do and when. She answered every question I had. She gave me recommendations for other professionals in the area (ex: realtors). She was firm, knowledgeable, and understanding. To say I felt like a weight had been lifted when I left her office is an understatement. Two weeks later, she followed up with me to see how things were going and if I needed anything else. My only regret is that I didn’t contact Tillman Law Firm earlier in the process. I probably could have avoided a few mistakes and headaches and made this process a lot easier on myself. Should I need any further legal advice or assistance, I will most certainly call upon Ms. Tillman again. I highly recommend her firm.
